We are pleased to share that Hayes Cricket Club is the first recipient of funding in Cycle 1 of our Community Fund Programme.
The funding will support the club’s ‘Cricket in the Community’ project—an inclusive initiative delivering weekly sessions that bring people together through physical activity, mental wellbeing support, and social connection. Open to people of all ages and abilities, the project creates a welcoming environment that encourages participation and promotes healthier lifestyles.
Hayes Cricket Club plays an important role within its local community, and this initiative demonstrates how targeted support can help strengthen those connections while improving overall wellbeing.
The support will enable the club to enhance delivery of its sessions, ensuring they remain accessible, safe, and impactful for all participants.
This is a great example of how our funeral homes are making a meaningful difference in the communities they serve. By supporting local groups and initiatives, colleagues across our network continue to build strong community relationships and create lasting, positive impact.
We look forward to following the progress of the project and sharing updates from future Community Fund cycles.
