I would like to say a huge thank you to Ida and to Loretta. They were both excellent, warm, friendly and very professional. Ida was on the end of the phone for all my questions.. Loretta was too, she was my main point of contact for coming into see my loved one before the funeral. She made it a perfect experience and something that will stay with me for ever - for the right reasons. On the day the funeral was perfect too. Thank you both Ida and Loretta, from the bottom of my heart.

Our dearest friend who was penniless and very disadvantaged in this life was provided the best funeral and send off any loved ones and friends could hope for. He was provided a funeral by the local Ealing Ccouncil who chose W Sherry and Sons in Sudbury to arrange the funeral . Our group of friends were very taken aback by the care , kindness and compassion showed by this firm and it`s workers . They provide the best service and a lovely coffin and flowere , all very respectfully delivered to the Mortlake crematorium and contributing greatly to hiss dignity and final resting . Thankyou ! Theresa was a great help. She helpt us in so manny ways.
She advised us the go with the "Reflect & Remember Package with Unattended Cremation" .
We held a small service at the Hanwell branch with some long time friends.
She got my brother in law in contact with Alistair who led the service the way we wanted.
For us as a family it was a warm goodbye.
If you look for a place to remeber a loved one and want to keep it small (6-8 persons) the Hanwall branch and Theresa are a perfect place.
When you have a small budget the reflect and remember package is a good deal.
Since we life in the Netherlands and we were depending on others to help/advice us.

so once again Theresa thank you so much you made the difference for us.

W. Sherry carried out the funeral of a good friend who had passed away without leaving easily found official documentation, as such his funeral was arranged by the London Borough of Hounslow, who engaged them, for what would effectively be a "pauper's burial"

They conducted their services with every bit of care and professionalism as though family had contracted them privately, a wonderful job.

Extra praise is due for the celebrant they engaged, Sam Barlow.

I've been to many funerals, and the celebrants have all been charming and professional, but Sam went the extra mile. He performed the eulogy with a passion, immersing his heart and soul into it.
I don't remember any of the other celebrants having the same impact, had another funeral 24 hours later so had a quick comparison.
Everyone at the wake commented on the great overall performance of W Sherry, and everyone had the same impression of Sam.

I would highly recommend W. Sherry & Sons, and would further recommend you request Sam Barlow as your celebrant.
Afterwards I may have upset him by asking if he was an actor such was the impression he'd made upon me, I promise it was a mark of appreciation and respect for how he had performed his duties.

From our first contact with Theresa, I felt in good hands. She took the time to listen to my wants & needs. To the day when the team were very helpful & friendly. I had previously used them some years ago for Mum’s funeral so knew my stepdad’s funeral service needed to be with them

I have used the services of Sherry's on three occasions now because they are well established in the area and are most professional, understanding and sympathetic. With thanks especially to Ida Anderson, who is now the Manager. Justin Anderson and the other pall bearers carried out their duties in a dignified manner which was to be expected from such a highly regarded firm of undertakers. Would not hesitate whatsoever to recommend them. In fact, having been an Executor three times, I will be instructing my own Executors to use Sherry's for my own funeral.
