The service from start to finish was absolutely 5-star! Nicky’s communication was brilliant throughout, and the rest of the team was just as excellent. I met Andy on the day, and he also contacted me beforehand. They could not have been more helpful. A massive thank you to all of you!

The team were kind, professional, and genuinely easy to deal with during a difficult time. Sian and Phil in particular were fantastic calm, caring, and really supportive without ever being pushy or overwhelming. Everything was explained clearly and handled smoothly, which made the whole process feel a lot more manageable. We felt well looked after from start to finish,as we are not from the local area and would definitely recommend them

This review is very late, however no less grateful. We lost our 18 month old daughter in 2013 following surgery at Gt Ormond St Hospital. We live in Northern Ireland so were pretty lost as to what to do. Our Funeral Director in Antrim directed us to W Sherry & Sons. They did their job very quickly and efficiently, and whilst we were in the building for a very short period, we were looked after well. Highly recommended, and we are eternally grateful for W Sherry being there to assist in getting our little girl home.

From the very moment we chose to use their services, everything was handled with compassion, clarity, and efficiency. Every detail was thoughtfully organised, allowing us to focus on remembering our loved one rather than worrying about arrangements. The team were attentive listeners, ensuring our wishes were fully understood and carried out with sensitivity and respect.

Special care was taken when arranging for certain family members to view the body. Those who attended commented on how peaceful and beautifully presented our loved one looked, which brought great comfort during such a difficult moment. We were also recommended a celebrant, Barbara, who was truly exceptional. She was kind, professional, and went above and beyond to deliver a service that felt personal, warm, and deeply meaningful.

Nothing ever felt rushed or overlooked. From planning the service to the smallest details, including the service books which were exactly as discussed, everything was spot on. It genuinely felt as though the team were walking alongside us, guiding us gently and respectfully through every step.

W Sherry & Sons Funeral Directors (incorporating J R Barton & Son) listened carefully to what we wanted and helped us create the perfect day for the perfect final journey. We are incredibly grateful for their support, compassion, and dedication, and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Thank you so much Sharon for your guidance and understanding. You made an extremely difficult time and experience easy to understand and navigate. Mum was looked after and presented beautifully, I couldn’t have asked for more. This made our last memory even better to see her looking so peaceful x

The service was truly exceptional. Every member of staff went far above and beyond to ensure that everything was handled with care, dignity, and perfection. I was genuinely overwhelmed by the level of support and compassion shown to me and my family throughout. The funeral director (Justin), in particular, made me feel as though he was part of our family, nothing was too much trouble, and his kindness and understanding brought great comfort at a very difficult time.
